Whether this happens
Why it matters
A hot meal every day is the difference between coping and not coping when you are sleeping outside in northern France. Food distribution is also the moment when the most people are in one place, so it is where water, showers, charging and information reach them too. That is why the services run side by side.

What keeps this running
Roots’ role in food distribution depends on our vehicles, fuel and volunteers being there every day. Financial donations are the most useful way to support it. If you want to donate food or run a collection, please contact us first, because storage and safety rules mean not everything can be accepted.
